Zooming Out
Thanks to the zooming capability of binoculars, I was able to keep track of a mule deer as it kept on gnawing whatever plant it was gnawing on. The capability of zoom binoculars to shift the magnification between distances actually keeps track of something, and allows you to identify things you wouldn’t normally have seen with the Naked eye.

The hands tend to shake a bit, irrespective of how stable you hold them. Mick provided the solution by supporting a stand designed specifically for the zoom binoculars. The stability needed was given, and this enabled us to truly crank up the magnification! Heck, the 36x zoom helped me spot the deer twinkling its nose a bit as it sniffed the air!
Anyway, I know what I am going to pack the next time I go hiking or camping. When you want a flexible method of enlarging your vision, whether for closer targets or for some major magnification power, then zoom binoculars is the simplest way to go!
