The Wii has sold very well that is without a doubt, but it really doesnt do much for me at all. it is the games that are the problem on the wii not the console. There hasn’t actually been a decent release on the Wii for a very long time. What happened to the fans Nintendo. Although there is the promised Mario Galaxy 2 and Legend of Zelda DS both seem to be complete copies of the previous game and this certainly is a first for Nintendo.
The PS3 is a good console for many reasons. Blu-Ray is one of the reasons it has become such a success as well as the HD gaming and free online play. Free is not always a positive thing. The servers and games are really laggy and the overall experience is very poor. The games available just for the PS3 are very poor to Microsoft’s Halo and Gears of War with Uncharted, Metal Gear and Resistance all being very poor games. The PS3 wand does seem to rip off the Wii.
The Xbox 360 has to be top of the list simply because of the overall experience that is received. The games are better the online service is paid for but I rarely see a laggy game. Live recieves many updates that actually do things. Project Natal is sure to make sure that the Xbox 360 dominates this generation. At least Microsoft are tying to keep the fans happy.
