The PS3 has a disk protection system which prevents you from burning the disks directly and playing them. The protection system makes use of disks with special coating which contain the boot sequence for the disks embedded on the disk itself hence preventing it from playing once copied. But Game Copy Wizard is a software which allows to burn PS3 games with ease.
Just download the software and install it on your system. Make sure to buy a good quality sony blue ray or DVD-9 to burn your disk onto. They tend to last longer and hence provide better reliability to your backup PS3 games. Download or get an ISO of the game disk you intend to burn. Start the software and enter burn ISO mode, insert the disk and select the PS3 game ISO you want to burn. Wait for the burn process to complete. Insert the game into your console and play the game as you would play a normal store purchased disk!
This method does not require you to modify your console in any way or have modchips installed. It works perfectly on all consoles I have tried both PAL and NTSC.
