It turns out that I was wrong. Amazon has had a huge amount of success with the Kindle. I think a lot of that success is because the gadget actually doesn’t have any problem with glare so that it reads like a book even in bright light. Plus they also have another feature that’s really amazing; they can use text to speech technology to actually read your books to you! This turns all of your books into audio books. How cool is that?
And then I went to The Kindle Store to see what could be downloaded and I was amazed by the huge selection. There are over 350,000 books, magazines, and newspapers available to download and it only takes 60 seconds to download an entire book!
On top of the huge selection that is available for the Kindle, I also noticed that the prices for the download versions of these books were far lower than the paperback prices. It was then that I realized that the Kindle isn’t only a really convenient way of carrying around your entire library with you wherever you go, it’s also a way of saving money in the long run on book buying!
But up until 2009 the Kindle Digital Book Reader has only been available to those in the United States. Now with the release of the great Kindle EBook Reader with Global Wireless Service that is no longer the case! This amazing reading gadget works in over 100 countries around the world with cellphone technology. I know you must be thinking: “But how much does the wireless service cost?” The answer is nothing! It’s just like with GPS. Once you own your Kindle, that’s it. No more fees. Ever.
