The Cw On Dish Network Has Lost Its Patience With The Beautiful Life
Well, the axe has fallen and the first casualty of the new fall season is in.”The Beautiful Life,” which was executive produced by Ashton Kutcher, has been cancelled by The CW after just two episodes. The episode pulled in just short of only a million viewers. Those are terrible numbers, even for a smaller network such as The CW.
The show, which was loosely based on Kutcher’s own days as a model, was set to follow the lives of a group of models as they climbed the runway to success in New York City. Promotion for the show was surprisingly scarce before the premiere (instead focusing on the much-hyped reboot of “Melrose Place”) and the ratings suffered almost immediately out of the gate. Despite the presence of such teen faves such as Mischa Barton, Sara Paxton, and Corbin Bleu, the show did not attract a following.
