Samsung Pn58b550 Vs Pn58c550, Buzzing?

im looking to buy my first plasma tv. ive tried my best to research both models and found alot of complaints about buzzing particularly from the 2009 samsungs (b550). my question is.

1. did samsung fix the buzzing problem with the newer c550 model or is it still there?

2. is it worth paying 300 dollars more for the c series?

2. also i heard that the cause of the buzzing comes from elevation – is there any truth in that? (i live in texas).
