The model is: Samsung Series 4+ 440
Now, when I plug in the HDMI cable from my computer to my TV (HDMI Port 1 [HDMI to DVI]) it comes up in the 1024×768 resolution as recommended but when I turn it up any higher than that all the text has a whitish glow around it and everything turns bad quality. I've tried plugging it into HDMI port number 2 but it says format not supported. I've tried changing the settings in Control Panel, NVidia settings and even the TV Menu. I've tried changing the label name to "PC" which most people say works but it didn't do anything for me. Could anyone give any other suggestions? Thanks in advance – Sharri

is there a VGA port on your tv………use it……..select pc on source/input menu.
