Horizontal Faint Black Shadows on Samsung Plasma?

Is this normal? I have already returned one of these TV's. And the problem is not so obvious on the new one but i wonder if this is just something that is normal with plasmas. I don't know if those are the pixel rows or what. The picture quality is superb and you can only see these faint lines or shadows when the picture is showing something of a bright or white color. Other people think I am crazy but it bothers the hell out of me. Is this just typical for plasma? It is a Samsung 50" Plasma 1080p.

Suggestion:

are you watching in hd, sky, virgin,bt?

if it is anything except hd on a screen that big wont look very nice anyway
