Toshiba Tv Problem!?

I have the Toshiba Regza 42AV635DB 42-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LCD TV with Freeview and Resolution + and basically the it seems as though the HD has turned off, the edges are no longer as sharp as they were before. I have tried all the settings, does anyone have any ideas??

Suggestion:

This is a long shot, but look at your remote and locate "aspect" "p.size" or "zoom" button. Press it few times until you get to normal or 16:9, or to whatever looks good enough to you.
