Ps3 Ghosting on a 26" Lcd Tv?

I have had my PS3 now for a year and a half and a few months back got a new TV, a Hitachi 26" LCD and have had no problems, however now when i go onto the XMB on the PS3 I get this horrible ghosting problem when I scroll between menus, and it also happens on games like Call of Duty and FIFA as well.

Output Resolution is 576i and it is connected with AV cables (Red, Yellow and White).

Any feedback would be helpfull and dont just put by new cables, be constructive!

Suggestion:

Some games have a fast refresh rate, if your TV can't keep up then you probably would see some ghosting. Cheaper tvs would have this issue.

You can try moving over to HD cables. Honestly I didn't even think you could hook up a PS3 with the Red, Yellow and White cables.
