Looking to Buy a New Tv, Any Suggestions?
Not to long ago I bought an RCA 26 in
LCD tv with built in DVD player. I haven't had any trouble with the tv, but when I called customer service I decided I was going to return it and buy a different brand – first off, the people didn't speak english (although that's so common these days) but the big problem i had was they told me they didn't handle that tv and I'd have to speak to the store I bought it from. mind you, the tv is listed on thier website.
So, I am returning it. The questions I have are:
I'll have about 400 dollars to spend (that'll inlcude taxes). I want a TV that's at least 26 in (or 32in) with or without a built in DVD player. What brands are good TV's?
Is LG a good brand?

I think Samsung is the best brand. I recommend Samsung LN26B360 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

The top brands are Panasonic, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba. The rest of the other brands are lower quality and you get what you pay for. Hope this will help you out.

I love my new Panasonic VIERA X1. It works wonderfully and looks amazing!!!!! Especially going from one of those old 24 inch dinosaurs to this brand new flatscreen. It is perfect for small areas and has amazing picture quality. The sound is OK, it doesnt get very loud, but I could care less. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new TV for their bedroom or small living room, but you have to have a small living room if you are gonna put a 26 inch. And the Ipod dock is very cool and you can manage the music with the remote, no need to get up and change it yourself. I also love the SD card slot. I can take the memory card from my phone and show off all of my funny pics to a group of people instead of handing around a 3 inch screen for them to look at one by one. All in all it is a great TV for basically anything, watching movies, gaming, viewing pictures and even listening to music.
