Im Having Trouble Configuring My Ps3 to My Lcd Tv?

i own a big hd tv and a smaller lcd tv. I had no problems setting up the ps3 on the big hd tv, but now when i try to take my ps3 downstairs to play it on the lcd tv, the tv just display anything. just the black screen. I know how to change tv outputs, so this is a problem with the console, not my stupidity.

when you turn your console on hold your finger on the power button and wait for it to beep a second time.
