How to I Resolve a Tv Short Circuit Problem?

Apparently, I change to a manual antenna just to view more channels and I was trying to move my antenna to the best position when I slapped the back of the LCD TV with a bit of force by accident with the antenna cable and it caused the TV to short circuit.
I resume the power supply on the circuit breaker but the TV seems dead now!!
I wonder what could had caused the TV to short circuit with just a slap at the back!
This TV is not mine! It had just been bought by my parents and they are going to kill me for that!
Please help!!
