What's the Difference Between a Plasma and a Lcd Tv?
If you read that article really the only "disadvantage" to a plasma is they arent as bright as an LCD. But on that same point they have a more lifelike image. Also go look at 120hz and 240hz tvs at a store. When they are using those modes they have a very artificial look to the image that looks similar to a soap opera or cardboard cutouts.
Really plasmas are the best bet for your money, and the only true advantage to an LCD is that LCD are lighter. I dont know about you though, when i buy a 50"+ tv, it doesnt get moved very much.
