Quick Please Help! Deciding Between a Lcd and Plasma?

well I'm at the store right now and I just can't decide between these two tvs
1) is the SAMSUNG LN55C630 (they have a 650 but the picture actually seems better on the old one) it has 1080p, 120hz, 55 in, and is an LCD
2) is an LG 60PK550 its a 60 in tv, 600 hz, 1080p and its a plasma.

Now i can't decide because i know LCD's will save me more energy but the LG tv has the most gorgeous picture I have ever seen. so please help

I've done my research and know that life span is no longer a factor for plasmas. the only thing is energy. I mean even if I knew how many watts each one had I wouldnt really be able to accurately compare the watt difference like if they have a 50 watt difference is that a lot? (nice explanation of watts would be nice)

And secondly your opinion which one would you get and do you have one of these tv's and how do you like it, how long has it lasted you?

money also is not a factor because these are actually the same prices right now which is like OMG

Suggestion:

joel, you should do your research. its not a true 600 hz. Plasmas are also warmer than lcds, so if you already have problems in the summer with your room being hot expect it to be even worse. Contrary to what you may have read burn in is still a problem with plasmas. you should also look at features of the tv. samsung offers some interesting features such as internet connectivity…
