Lcd Vs. Plasma – How Do I Tell Which I Have?

I have a flat screen laptop, brand new, but I don't know how to tell if it is an LCD or a plasma screen.

Suggestion:

As far as I know, there are several type of LCDs available in different resolutions on laptops.
Anti-glare LCD, extra bright LCD, LED backlit LCD.

Plasma is a rare term associated w/ laptop.

Mercuri is right.

There are no plasma screen laptops. They require more power than a laptop battery can provide without severely shortening the battery life.

its LCD. laptops only have LCD screens.

test: gently poke hte screen. there will be a ripple, indicating its a LCD.
if plasma it'll be glass and not poke-able.

There's no such thing as a Plasma screen laptop. As such, it's an LCD screen.
