How Can I Find the Refresh Rate on a Sony Bravia?

I've been debating LCD vs Plasma for quite some time. I own 2 sony Bravia's, a 26 inch, and a 32 inch. I am about to buy my self a 50 inch television. The plasma is 600hz refresh rate, and the sony choices are 60hz, 120hz, and 240hz. The Plasma is much cheaper.

My neighbor has a nice sony bravia, I really like the way his picture looks, but he is not sure how many hertz his TV is. How can I find out?

Also, Plasma or LCD, and if I go plasma, panasonic or samsung, the samsungs are much thinner, but are there heating problems?

Suggestion:

If you find out the Model number for your neighbors TV you can look it up on line or if he will lend you the manual then you can locate it there…
The main advantage of an LCD over plasma is that they look better in lighted areas, Plasmas have a glass screen that reflects light especially in well lighted rooms, while LCD's use a more matted screen that doesn't reflect as well… if you can isolate the TV from lighting or if you only watch it at night then Plasma would be the way to go as you could get a bigger screen for less money..the refresh rate mostly effects motion so if you watch a lot of sports or action movies then you will see the difference, but if your just watching the news or talk shows it really doesn't matter that much. So a lot depends on where the TV will be placed and what kind of material you watch…Plazmas also put out more heat.
