42inch Lg Hd Lcd or 50inch Samsung Hd Plasma?

i'm in the market for a new tv…i've found both of these for similar price but wonder if anyone has any thoughts on which is better? Naturally i'd like the bigger one but i've never owned a plasma tv, i currently have a (very broken) 42inch lcd! I've read reviews on the samsung saying that the classic 'problems with plasma' like image burn and pixel noise aren't really an issue…is there any other lcd vs plasma differences i need to consider?

life for Plasma Display is as good as LCD display . is 60,000 hours now.
Easy burn in / over heat / high power consumptions is not an issue any more !!
even long for games. because all New Plasma TV with anti burn in circuit
Plasma still PREFECT in pictures quality / true deep colours / dark colours display .and big screen Plasma prices is more cheapest than LCD / LED TV. ( company to International Brand . mid / hi End model ).

Hi End LCD TV prices is 1 X more than Plasma , but only 86 % of Plasma quality.
New LED TV is about 96 % close to Plasma quality. to our eye. there is no difference in pictures quality. but you need to paid 2 to 3 X in prices.
get an Plasma . never go wrong.** only go for 2008 / 2009 model **
Samsung Plasma is GOOD / GREAT.
LG Plasma okay GOOD QUALITY/
Panasonic Plasma is EXCELLENCE GREAT
do not " touch " any other brand Plasma , is " junk ". problems burn in . because of still using old Plasma technologies !!
42 inc LG LCD vs Samsung 50 inc Plasma.
Samsung Plasma all the way. LG LCD okay.but " motion blur " still not cover/hide in LCD display technologies .beware of this issue. LCD is not very good to sports/ fast action movies .
