Heard of the iTwinge?

Sounds weird doesnt it? Well, the new product, iTwinge, is a great answer to a problem that many iPhone users have encountered. Many users of the iphone are so frustrated with the on-screen keyboard function that the iTwinge has been one of the most searched products on the web over the last few months. The iTwinge is primarily a slide on keyboard that slides over the iPhone. The product costs $30 and it really could save you a lot of hassle and time.

When you see the design and style of this device you could argue that many iPhone users will not be interested in using this but for some people who are keen on the texting and emailing side of things this device could prove to be really useful. Yet, the biggest drawback is that the slide on cover goes over roughly %40 of the iphone screen which is a little daft. The company that manufacturers the device, Mobile Mechatronics have stated that the iTwinge is a Skin for the iPhone that enables faster typing for people that have trouble using the current touch screen technology.

The iTwinge currently has a patent pending but their case looks strong. Also, according to the company studies show that an average user will improve their typing speed by %30 to %40 and reduce typing errors by %70 to %80. It is definetly an issue with the current set up for the iPhone and they are giving something valuable to a very large community.
The iTwinge is making a wireless keyboard much easier to use and almost acts as educational keyboards for people who are having trouble using the virtual on screen technology that the iphone current has. I for one have used the iPhone touch screen keyboard and I agree that there is a problem that desperately needs rectifying. The trouble is that the keys are very close together and if you do not have fingers that are so small you will hit the wrong key for sure.
