Is it possible for a cat to damage a plasma tv screen with its claws?
My husband just got a plasma tv and I am worried about our cat trying to climb on top of it (the tv being a new climbing surface and the cat being curious). I am worried that if the cat thinks it is wider than it is and he jumps up and slips and then uses his back feet on the screen to climb up, is it possible he can damage the screen: is there glass over the plasma? and if so is there a coating on the glass? Where's the plasma because it used to be a soft, squishy kind of surface and very delicate. I don't know anything about these screens and my husband won't talk about anything right now as he just wants to gaze in delightful wonder at the new tv. I'm trying to be practical and learn what potential problems the cat can cause, and how I can avoid this happening (please don't give me some ridiculously stupid answer here like get rid of the cat or put socks on the cat, etc, I am looking for intelligent help please). Who can help me?

Is it the TV or the PS3 that's the problem?
Our original PS3 died about a week ago and we replaced it with a new PS3 (120GB). Ever since getting it, we've been having a problem with the TV (LG 50" plasma) suddenly showing a static screen sometimes when starting a game or at times when quitting a game. If we turn the TV off then back on, it's fine; or, if we cycle through the different TV formats (DVD, HDMI1, HDMI2, etc.), it works. It doesn't do it in the middle of a game.
I've tried looking online but haven't found any help. Is there some setting we need to put the TV on, or some setting we need for the PS3? It's darn annoying.
Faulty JVC 42″ plasma Tv. Help?
Recently heard about a JVC Plasma TV (42") with a fault, apparently it has a long dark line of approximately 2cm down the right hand side, i was wondering if there's a common problem that would show this symptom or if further information would be required? Possible Repairs? Cost?

PS3 not compatible with my older Sanyo plasma?
My dilemma is this…my ps3 works great on my vizio in mantown, but I want to bring it into the livingroom so i can watch netflix with the wife. Problem is the Sanyo will not recieve any video or audio from my ps3. matter of fact the tv says "no signal". Yes I am using an hdmi cable and that same cable works fine with my hdcable box. Ive also gone out and purchased the components for the ps3 thinking that was the case but unsuccessful as well.
Has anyone else run into this issue and can you please help….thank you

Panasonic 42″ Plasma with Bell Expressvu cutting off image?
I have a Panasonic TCP42-S1 hooked up to a Bell Expressvu HD box. Since we've hooked it up, it cuts off the image in both 4:3 and 16:9. The TV is set to full and when I contacted Panasonic, they told me that it was a problem with the satellite box. It looks as though the TV is zoomed in, but I can't find any settings for this. If you know how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks
