What is the best HD widescreen tv?

I want the biggest tv with the best quality picture possible. Preferably under $1000, but I'm flexible. I don't want the kind that has a bulb that can go it inside and cost hundreds though. I think thats plasma, but I'm kind of ignorant about televisions.

Keep it upright! Don't lay it on its front or back. That can screw up the TV. If for some reason, it some out ends up being transported in such a fashion, I would then not turn it on for a few days. Get it back upright and leave it be for a few days (maybe long if the amount of time on its side was long). Try and let the gasses settle again before firing it up.

Otherwise, any type of good cushioning for it, just so its not scratched or damaged at all. Put a blanket on it and then as already suggested, wrap it up in some bubble wrap. The original packaging box would be best, but if you don't have access to that, bubble wrap is a nice backup.

Neither plasma nor LCD is best for video games. LED is best for gaming purpose.

i personally prefer samsung UN46C6300 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV which is good LED.

I had a 50 inch plasma tv from freakin samsung. Which didn't last 3 years. And a month ago it got burnt and the cost to fix it is 700 dollars. So Im thinking of buying a new Tv. And Considering NEVER TO BUY Piece of **** SamSUNG!

So any recommend what I do. And which company should I buy from? Sony or panasonic, i heard panasonic is best for tvs.
