Suggestion:
It depends what your using it for, Plasmas used to only last a couple of years when they first came out but these days they are much better and they will last longer than you need, 10 years at least. Plasmas are the best tv for gaming as they have an almost instant response time. LED is better than LCD but not hugely it just has some extra lighting but if your going for best picture and not really into gaming then LED. If your a gamer than Plasma.
LG and sony are both great and reliable so any of them would be good.

Panasonics make the best plasmas…it's a good technology if you have a dark theater type room, and you don't mind paying the higher electric bill.
Sony makes a great LED…model HX820 is an excellent television (but pricey)
LCD is going to give you the brightest screen, but it's going to be a thicker television than the other two.
Plasma is the cheapest typically..than LCD..than LED at the most expensive.
Brands…Sony, Samsung, Sharp, LG in that order for the LED/LCD
