What should I do about my new plasma TV?
I just purchased a plasma TV from best buy, and the car that we used wasn't big enough to transport the TV completely vertically. We had to put the TV in the car diagonally. However, as we were going up a hill, the TV fell flat on its side! What should I do at this point?
Answer:
If the screen is not broken, then most probably it still works as most components are relatively immune to shocks.

Plug it in and see if it works. If it does'nt, check for any visible damage and if there is'nt any take it back to Best Buy and tell them they sold you a dud. IIt may not be honest but at least you won't be out of your money, plus they are insured for any losses. For a small fee they will safely deliver a TV tou your home.
If you broke the screen you are probably out of luck. Your warranty surely won't cover physical damage. Perhaps you can contact your insurance company to see if it may be covered in your policy if you have one. If there is no apparent physical damage I would plug it in and see if it works OK.
