Suggestion:
You have it backwards. Serious gamers prefer plasmas because they have no fast-motion blur problem. The older sets had an image burn problem on the screen, but the newer ones do not.
An LCD or LED/LCD set will have the fast motion problem to some degree, and many of them have it really bad.
I personally don't like DLP technology; others do and that's fine. For me, it's not state of the art and not easy to repair. Personal opinion.
Bottom line: a late-model plasma for best gaming experience.
