Suggestion:
LG and Panasonic don't come close when you look at lifetime enjoyment.
They may seem to look similar in the shop but the Panasonic will be considerably more reliable and will give better performance when fed by weaker signals. It will also be compatible with all sorts of Panasonic Hi Fi and Home Cinema equipment.
If you want to continue having good viewing without suffering annoying faults for the next five years then buy the Panasonic.
