Sony and Samsung use basically the same LCD panels for smaller sizes.  Sharp and Sony basically use the same LCD panels for larger sizes.  So for small to mid-size (up to 46&quot; I&#039;d say) LCDs, it&#039;s 6 one half dozen the other.  For larger sizes, the Sony may be a bit better, since Sharp is really the Pioneer and pioneer of LCDs.</description>
