What Brand of Lcd Tv is the Best?

Looking to buy a new LCD television, and not sure how to go about finding the right brand, that will have the best quality of picture.

Suggestion:

Samsung, Sony, LG are really a good brands for LCD TV

: Sony and Toshiba both make a great TV. Both brands tend to last decades.

Samsung and LG have a great picture and low price but rarely seem to last more than a few years.

A lot of people on here will say that Samsung is the brand to get, check through the questions and notice how many involve problems with Samsung TVs and how few are about Sony.

sony sharp samsung (Big 3 S's)
toshiba
lg
panasonic (fan of their plasmas but they make excellent lcd's and now some leds)
etc etc etc.

stay away from the…store brands…you know..like vizio and those one off ones. you'll only be replacing the set a year or two down the road.

any suggestions beyond that is pure prefference. what features each company crams into the tv. i.e. sharp doesn't usually bombard your tv with 20,000 features like other companies, but their sets are super nice, especially their new quattron led lcd's. talk about super sexy tv time. completely trumps any led set out there tenfold imo.

overall, well known brands that you've at least heard of and have a long reputation with tv's.
