Samsung made Quality / reliable LCD TV .
Low end / Mid end screen size between 18 – 40 inc . Samsung LCD TV are EQUALLY Quality compare to Sony / Sharp / Panasonic / LG / Toshiba . Mose of the LCD range 19-40 ibc Samsung and Sony share the SAME LCD DISPLAY PANEL by Sony-Samsung JV S-LCD Korea. using the same display panel .do you think Samsung able to made better LCD TV than Sony in this range ?

Big screen 40 inc and above Samsung use very own made display panel by Korea Samsung SDI.
Samsung Hi end big screen are Excellence. some of the models a little better than other .but no signification difference .
Sony big screen hi end models use Sharp Japan made display panel , one of the best quality so far .
Sony 40 years TV technologies with very own video Enhance Circuit designs , some ( not all ) Sony hi end is really TOP. of course Sharp and Panasonic Hi End models are great too.

If you REF to BEST LCD TV ? B & O and LOEWE should be the BEST OF BEST. but very few people known about this 2 top quality brand.
In general . Samsung LCD TV is Quality and reliable . some hi end models could be over right other but not all models.
Samsung LCD prices always more reasonable than other maker . this is the reason Samsung is the world biger TV manufactures. Samsung kick Sony out for World NO 1. is Prices and Quality / reliable. but do not mean Samsung LCD TV is the best !
Samsung taken more than 85 % market share of LED TV worldwide. Mose of the Samsung LED TV are Excellence . but other like Sony / Sharp / Panasonic LED TV able to compare to Samsung in total pictures quality. However because of PRICES. as same quality / reliable , consumer are smart too !

I got the 42 inch side lit LED one and I'm totally happy with it.
