Suggestion:
First of all, be aware that an "LED" TV is nothing but an LCD set with a more modern method of backlighting. Older or less expensive LCDs use a fluorescent lamp for the backlight. The "LED" set is the same TV with a bank of light emitting diodes to light up the LCD display.
The LED sets bring certain advantages in brightness control and the LEDs don't burn out like a fluorescent lamp. On the other hand, a conventional LCD will be less expensive and can still give you an outstanding picture.

Got a Hitachi LCD HD ready Tv and the quality and sharpness of the picture is brilliant,even better now we've connected a Humax HD-FOX T2 Black Freeview HD Receiver to it.
LED obviously, get samsung 50 inch led… sweet ***
LED might seem to give deeper image quality but personally, I'd go with LCD or Plasma. Get a Samsung LCD.
