What I'm looking for is other suggestions or personal experiences to find out the best TV I can possibly get for my money. I already know the differences between 60, 120, and 240 HZ, and honestly it doesn't matter to me that much. I also know about static and dynamic contrast ratios… I'm just looking for personal opinions and experiences so I don't end up wasting my money. Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.
Answer:
I was in the market for a 32" tv several months ago. I went online to Best Buy and read all the reviews from customers who purchased one. The Panasonic had the best reviews. I looked at the various brands at the store and notice that some brands when viewing from an angle you loose picture quality. Panasonic did not loose the picture quality. I actually purchased a 37" Panasonic LCD tv for $549, the price is now around $499 at Best Buy. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on tvs. You will notice that Panasonic has a tv recommended in each price category of entry level to the high end, while Sony, Samsung and Toshiba does not. Other brands like LG, Sharp, Sanyo and Viaio did not even get mentioned. Wal-Mart is not the best place to buy a tv. Costco offers you a 90 day return policy and one extra year of factory warranty at no cost. Hope this will help you out.
