Suggestion:
If you got an improved picture between the Belkin and the Monster cable, something is wrong with that particular sample of the Belkin cable. There is no technical difference between the Belkin and the Monster insofar as signal transfer is concerned. The monster cable looks more rugged and is prettier, but the electrons don't care. For routine TV reception, they all work the same.
In your circumstance, then, I'd have no problem with installing the cheapest cable I could find. That's what I've always bought and have never had a problem. The link below shows an example.
